I’m so grateful to have Emily sharing her morning routine & ritual on my blog today. I first came across Emily earlier this year when my husband and I attended one of her Conscious Boss events on the Gold Coast. It was the perfect date night for us – watching Emily interview Preston Smiles and Alexi Panos on authenticity, heart centered business, dropping our BS, conscious relationships and loads more epic topics.
It’s my pleasure to introduce you to Emily Gallagher:
I am a life and business coach to women in the wellness industry. I help women who are at the early stages of their idea or business, launch powerfully to create a business that supports them while they create their ultimate lives, or take their already growing business to the next level.
I throw events for conscious wellness entrepreneurs called Conscious Boss Clique where I feature global thought leaders in the conscious business space to share with the community & encourage connections.
My business Conscious Boss, and my work, is about Connection, Collaboration & Community & all my work is a mission to create more of that through conscious business.
What’s your morning routine?
Now that I work full time in my business, this has changed a lot. Here it is:
• Between 7-8 am I wake up
• Lemon & warm water
• Walk/run around the block (25 mins)
• Meditation, free dance & gratitude… get those good vibes going!
• Breakfast – usually a smoothie. Heading into winter it may be eggs & avocado!
• 10am is the earliest I will schedule client calls, so that is usually my deadline to be at my desk.

Do you have a morning ritual that no matter how crazy your morning is (knowing your normal routine won’t get done), you do?
I need space in the morning to centre myself & get my energy right. Movement is also key for me. If I can’t do that… just having a few deep, focused breaths, and a warm glass of water.
What’s your guiding word for 2017?
What’s your favourite morning beauty hack or product?
I am moving to all natural products as I have so many beautiful clients & friends creating magic in this space… and I am a really simple girl when it comes to beauty… I would say coconut oil is the go to here because it is so versatile & can use it for anything/everything… teeth, face, hair, cooking!
What is your go to breaky that makes you feel amazing?
Smoothie with lots of added goodies – maca, cacao, berries, chia seeds. Such a good nutrient hit. I also put tofu in my smoothies for added calcium and thickness!
What book are you reading right now?
I just finished reading ‘The Rosie Project’ which was some light relief… I have a new commitment to try to read some fiction otherwise my head is always turned on & learning. I welcome some suggestions for light reading! Otherwise a favourite book is: The War of Art by Steven Pressfield or anything by Brene Brown!
